This Privacy Policy describes how Vdose ("the App"), provided by the developer of Vdose ("we", "us", or "our"), handles your information. Vdose is a minimal vocabulary-learning app for iOS that uses flashcards and spaced repetition.
Vdose is designed to be fully local and offline. The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. Everything you create or configure stays on your device. We have no servers, no user accounts, and no way to access your information.

All data you create while using Vdose — including the words you add, their meanings, your review history, streaks, settings, and your profile name — exists only on your device. This information is never sent to us or to any third party.
The App contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party software development kits (SDKs).
Your data is stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device storage frameworks (SwiftData and UserDefaults). It is not backed up to any servers operated by us.
Because all data is local, deleting the App from your device permanently removes all of your Vdose data. We cannot recover it, because we never had a copy.
Vdose offers an optional auto-renewing subscription, Vdose Essential, sold through Apple's In-App Purchase system. All purchases and renewals are processed by Apple, not by us.
We do not see, receive, or store any payment details (such as your credit card number, billing address, or Apple ID). Apple's handling of your purchase information is governed by Apple's own privacy policy:
Vdose does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children. Because the App collects no personal information at all, no such information about children is gathered or transmitted.
Vdose does not share data with third parties, because it does not collect or transmit data. The only third party involved is Apple, solely for processing optional In-App Purchases as described above.
You are always in control of your data:
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of the App after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
